Spring and summer
Warmer, humid conditions drive a sharp rise in ant activity, cockroach breeding, wasp nest building and general insect pressure. Termite swarming activity also increases with the first warm rains of the season.
Autumn
As temperatures start to cool, spiders become more active in and around the home searching for shelter, and rodents begin scouting for winter entry points.
Winter
Rodent activity peaks as rats and mice move indoors for warmth. Termite activity below ground continues, largely unaffected by cooler surface temperatures, which is why winter inspections still matter.
Staying ahead of the cycle
A general pest treatment every 6 to 12 months, timed appropriately for your property, keeps most seasonal pressure well managed rather than reactive.
